Aachen: Triple success

Triple success for Gestüt Vorwerk at the Aachen Youngstars, the unofficial German youth indoor championship

The six-year-old Fürstin Schufro GV, bred by us, was unbeatable in the Children's classification under her rider Lynn Sophie Soddemann. The pair, competing together for only the second time ever in Aachen, won the team competition with 78.125 percent and were narrowly beaten in the individual competition with 76.931 percent. Fürstin Schufro GV is descended from our Fürst Schwarzberg, with whom Lynn Sophie won team gold and individual and team silver at the 2024 and 2025 European Championships. Her grandmother is a full sister to the influential stallion and Olympic team bronze medalist Don Schufro.

Friday I'm in Love (by Fürsten-Look, bred by Ilona Heyrovska), who placed fourth in the Children's class under Jasmina Vasaryova/CZE, is out of the Bvlgari daughter Balance, who was born at our stud. Sissy Max-Theurer's Olympic eighth-place finisher and World Championship twelfth-place finisher Liechtenstein also comes from her Danish dam line.

With three victories in the team, individual and final freestyle competitions, Villeneuve under Eve Catherine Bartels was unbeatable in the overall junior competition. Villeneuve was the first reserve winner of his licensing, won silver under Laura Strobel at the Dressage Horse World Championships and bronze at the Riding Horse Championships. Under Dorothee Schneider, he competed in the Burg Cup final and, under Laura Strobel, advanced to number one in the CDI* world rankings with a series of victories before winning bronze at the Junior German Championships with Eve Catharine in 2024.
