San Francisco OLD has valuable placings up to advanced (S***) level dressage competitions to his name. Under his rider Yvonne Kläne, the beautifully presented dressage star also secured the title of Weser-Ems Champion.

In 2010, San Francisco OLD won gold at the Bundeschampionat for three-year-old stallions with a 10.0 for his “ideal uphill canter” (according to the judges' comments), a 9.5 for his trot with “lots of ground gain and overtrack”, suppleness and harmonious performance and 19.0 points from the third-party riders. The dark bay, dubbed a “fabulous sorcerer's apprentice for the highest level of dressage”, had previously won the Oldenburg State Championships under Kira Wulferding. At his 30-day test in Schlieckau, he became the superior rideability winner with a 9.75. He won his first advanced (S) level dressage test as a seven-year-old and went on to compete internationally in the small tour with Victoria Max-Theurer.

San Francisco OLD, who was initially only used in sport, produced offspring with strong movements and excellent rideability. The licensed San Phillipo - H can boast victories up to St. Georges level.

His sire Sandro Hit, himself a dressage horse world champion and national champion, is regarded as the founder of the line of modern dressage horse breeding. His successful offspring include the Bundeschampioness, dressage horse World Championship fourth and Grand Prix-winning Sisters Act MT OLD/Dorothee Schneider and Laura Strobel as well as Salieri, who was successful under Victoria Max-Theurer/AUT up to World Cup freestyles.

The dam St.Pr./El.St. De Luxe M also produced the Grand Prix-placed St.Pr.A. Starlet M (by Sandro Hit) and the M**-successful San Francisco M (by Sarkozy). Her daughter Saphira M (by Sandro Hit) is the dam of Senzai (by Sezuan), who can boast placings up to St. Georges level.

Dam's sire Donnerhall stands for a unique synthesis of sporting and breeding success.

The granddam Rosenfee is the dam of the licensed stallion Sancisco OLD, who competed in the Burg Cup final, went on to win Grand Prix dressage competitions and was awarded the VTV dressage stallion award in Oldenburg in 2009. Sancisco's full sister Sanciscana M placed up to Inter II and took part in the German Amateur Championships, Sonntagsglück (by Sunday NRW) won in Intermediate I competitions.

Other successful sport horses come from the Haftung line.
